Rosa gallica Splendens

First described in 1583. Rose with semi single red-pink flowers, which will fold completely open during the blooming, allowing the yellow stamens come visible. Flowers only once, but very exuberant. The shrub grows dense and predominantly upright. Gives in the autumn red oval shaped hips, which are suitable for the making of jam. This solitary rose grows to a wide of approximately 1.8m and a height of 1.5 m .
